Lynx Transducers EVX Series

The EVX Series is Lynx Transducers mid level musical instrument sound system for Bass, Guitar and Keyboards (mode of operation is adjustable).

The Lynx Transducers EVX Series has a stackable 4x10" top with 4 10" Electro Voice DL-10X drivers and a HPT Super Horn Tweeter (not shown) with the Lynx "Linear X" crossover, matched sub-bass cabinets with 15" Electro Voice EVX-150A drivers operating in the "step down mode" (see Electro Voice technical docs). The 4x10 performing alone is in a class by itself as a standalone cabinet. The cabinet delivers a highly defined transparent tight bass line with rich tonality and silky smooth harmonic overtones free from speaker distortion and coloration even at maximum power levels.

The union of the matched 15" Sub Bass cabinets operating in the tuned port "step down mode", with it's 12 dB/Oct. Linear X crossover (100 Hz) adds the ultra fat rich bottom end that stirs the soul and shakes the walls. The result of this balanced combination enables you to articulate every nuance of your music and deliver the finest performance possible without having to compromise or "fight" with the system to get what you want. You get all of this and a failsafe driver protection system (see the Powermax description) which gives you a design with the ultimate combination of complete live performance reliability, extremely efficient high level SPL and transparent musical expression that no other system in this catagory has ever offered.

The system is rated at 1200 Watts RMS under EIA 426A specifications (briefly: 1200 Watts continuous power with 4800W peaks for 8hours)

Frequency Response 25 Hz - 20 kHz, Overall System SPL 2.83V/1m 107 dB, Dimensions: 4x10: 25"x25"x14", 1x15: 25"x25"x14". System impedance is 8 ohms. Recommended amplifier power 1000 to 2000 Watts RMS @ 8 Ohms.
